This year’s theme is 25 years of breaking barriers and building bridges. We ask that you help us promote this theme by following the guidelines below to prevent the spread of COVID-19 so that we can continue to make an impact in the metro Atlanta area.

Safety Information

The safety of our sponsors, donors, luncheon attendees, volunteers, and staff is The Atlanta Women’s Foundation’s top priority. After consultation with medical and public health experts, AWF will implement the following policies for a safe and healthy in-person 2021 Numbers Too Big To Ignore Luncheon.

All Guests Must Be Vaccinated or Show Proof of Negative COVID Test

There is a mandatory vaccination policy for all attendees of the 2021 Numbers Too Big To Ignore Luncheon to enter McCamish Pavilion.

Luncheon attendees must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to attend the luncheon and will be asked to show proof of vaccination upon arrival at the venue. “Fully vaccinated” means it must be at least 14 days from October 19, 2021 since your last dose of an FDA or W.H.O. authorized COVID-19 vaccine.

In lieu of proof of vaccination, we will also accept documentation of a negative COVID test taken within 48 hours prior to entry.

Proof of vaccination (or negative test result) must come directly from the healthcare provider that performed the vaccination (or test). Attendees can show proof of vaccination by presenting a physical vaccination card, a photo of a physical card, or a digital confirmation of vaccination.

In accordance with these protocols, all guests must present a government-issued photo ID such as a driver’s license or passport (guests younger than 18 may present a school photo ID).

There will be no exceptions. In order to enter the event, all guests, volunteers, and staff are required to present proof of vaccination or negative COVID-19 test.

Masked Wearing Required

In addition to proof of vaccination and according to CDC and City of Atlanta guidelines, AWF will also require that face masks be worn at all times with the exception of when eating during the lunch portion of the event.

Volunteers will ask or remind attendees to wear masks and will assist in assuring a pre-set, socially distanced seating arrangement. All masks must completely cover the nose and mouth.

COVID-19 PCR Test Centers

AWF has compiled a list of COVID-19 PCR testing locations that have the results within the 48-hour period required to attend the luncheon. This is not a comprehensive list. For additional options, please check with your local medical provider. You will also need to check with the testing location to determine if your insurance is accepted.

Click below for the list of testing locations.

Venue Information

All guests will go through magnetometers, or walk-through metal detectors, prior to entry.

Bag Policy

There will be a strict bag policy that requires guests to carry a clear bag into the venue.

All bags that do not follow this policy will have to be returned to the guest’s car or placed in the bag valet.

For more information on acceptable bag sizes and requirements, click here.

Bag Valet

If you do not own a clear bag and are unable to follow the venue’s bag policy, a bag valet option will be provided.

Guests will be able to check-in their purses or bags to the valet booth and retrieve them when leaving the luncheon.

The bag valet attendant will give each guest who checks their purse or bag into the booth a corresponding ticket to collect their appropriate belongings at the end of the event.

Luncheon Information

AWF originally planned to provide tables for sponsors spaced throughout the venue during lunch hour. Due to the COVID-19 delta variant and rising cases in our state and region, and in accordance with CDC large event guidelines, AWF has decided to no longer provide tables in an effort to discourage prolonged unmasked interactions with a non-distanced group.

All guests will receive assigned stadium tickets. All sponsors and guests will be seated together in a pod in special designated sections.

Additionally, venue capacity will only be at 20% or less, allowing enough space for social distancing.

Please refer to the seating chart once you receive your tickets to determine where you and your party will be sitting throughout our program.
